THURSDAY-
Breakfast
Oatmeal (I add a dash of salt, couple shakes of cinnamon, cover w/ water and pop it in the microwave for just over a min. -then add my berries... 1/3C each. and 1/4 C milk.

I went snow skiing right around noon, so on the way up I snacked on dry roasted almonds (22) and drank a ton of water (big mistake, I had to go pee every 2 runs)
On the way home I had a string cheese and apple. And then drove to Cottonwood -I snacked on (10) pretzel braids -& drank lots of water.

Dinner (minus the soup)
2 yellow corn tortillas, 1/4 avacodo, 1 C chicken, 1.5-2C Spinach, 1/4-1/2C red cabbage, salsa. YUMMY!!!!!! I added 1/4 C cheese to these.

FRIDAY
Breakfast

Lunch- 1C Spinach, 1/4Cbroccoli, 3/4C chicken breast, carrots, cherry tomatoes, 2TBSP salsa, 1C sugar snap peas, 1/2 grapefruit. I ate this sitting in the sunSHINE...in Cottonwood. It felt GOOD!!

Dinner (for the Second night in a row) + a cup of soup.
2 yellow corn tortillas, 1/4 avacodo, 1 C chicken, 1.5-2C Spinach, 1/4-1/2C red cabbage, salsa. YUMMY!!!!!! I don't know how to add up the calories for the soup.... ohwell.

snacks: apple, Whole wheat toast w/ 2 tsp peanut butter, almonds, pretzel braids

workout: 5mile jog. It felt good to run outside!!!!

SATURDAY:
Breakfast

Lunch- I was on the run again today... this is what I ended up eating throughout the day:
-protein powder/water, 10 pistachios, 11 almonds, 1 string cheese, small banana

Dinner-
1 1/2 C White Turkey Chili, 15 tortilla chips, 1/2C homemade salsa -tomatoes, onion, garlic, jalepeno pepper, lime, corn, black beans, cilantro. YUMMY! (pics to come) -we had company, felt funny taking a pic of my food!

Workout:
35min. rotating stairs
(6) sets of 25 diff. crunches
(4) sets of 25 leg lifts -each leg

Look at you go! I love the idea of photographing all of your meals- I'm not sure I could keep that up!!

Had to take a "sick" day Friday (outpatient surgery) and my workout for yesterday (Saturday) was a mere 45 minute walk (no strenuous exercise for the weekend). So, I'm anxious to get back to the grind tomorrow!! Seriously, I'm so glad you're doing this with me!

looks yummy once again. I think I will try journaling my food like you. I was totally sick sat. and sun. no food, no exercise..no nothing. it was horrible. worse tk worked all weekend. I am back and ready for week 2 though. so much for sun. and a free day. oh, well.

Rachel- Me too! It's like bad food is not even an option....I hate/love that Sunday is a free day -I just snacked all day -the will-power was out the window!

Dene' -do! I'm soooo glad you are feeling better. I wish I were close to help.
