For you, Bec!

What's for dinner: Whole wheat pasta w/ red sauceI'm a messy cook.
First, I sauted onion, mushrooms, 2 cloves of garlic, garlic salt, basil, and Italian seasonings in olive oil
Then I added slices of yellow squash and zucchini and about 1/4 c of water. (Add whatever veggies you'd like - broccoli, red/green peppers...)
I usually like to leave them all chunky in the sauce - but I knew the boys would pick them out, so after they were done cooking, I threw them all in the blender, and then mixed it w/ the sauce.
It was a hit - Bodie had two helpings. My fridge was lacking fresh veggies (besides carrots and squash) - so the meal isn't very colorful - A salad would've been really good.
I left a few chunks for moi

this looks deliC! and what a freaking great idea on the veggies! i need to try that with mylie. i cant get her to eat any veggies anymore! Thanks for the dinner idea. I need to go to sprouts or somewhere yummy and get some whole wheat pasta. :)

I am making the baked chicken/teriaki with veggies idea you gave me last time. i made it a few weeks ago and it was a HUGE hit. :)
